Mexican Sage
Not only are the flowers constructed from intensely magenta-purple velvet, the foliage is crinkled sage-grey on one side and cotton wool on the other. A garden winner with both excellent flower and foliage characteristics, this tough salvia performs for months in the garden.
How to grow
Prune back by half after flowering has finished to maintain a more compact growth habit. Additional pruning should be done in early spring if required.
