Penstemon 'Electric Blue'
Native to sunny California, the neon flowers light up the garden from mid-spring and continue well into autumn after a midseason trim. The attractive fine-textured foliage grows as a small evergreen shrub that benefits from a trim for shape once flowering ends in late autumn. This sun loving plant performs in parched soil once established.
How to grow
Drought-tolerant once established, penstemons are easy care perennials suitable for most conditions. Plant in full sun in an enriched, free-draining soil.
