Pin Oak

The Pin Oak is a statuesque pyramidal shaped tree that develops a lovely loose canopy from its initial strong central leader. It makes a perfect garden feature tree or avenue planting. Lush deep green deeply lobed leaves during spring and summer change to bronze with red highlights in autumn. Leaves fade to brown and usually persist on the tree through winter, falling as new spring foliage emerges. Low maintenance and fast growing.
How to grow

Full sun, moist well-drained soil, though tolerant of most soil types from dry to wet. Copes with drought and air pollution.
